Music Ministries

Music is the language of the soul...a miracle of communication with God.

-Sanctuary Choir, adults and youth -- Wednesdays at 7:30 pm

-M3, children -- Wednesday at 6:00 pm
-Youth Worship Leadership Team/Band
-Handbell Ensemble, youth and adult -- Sundays at 8:45 am

-REASON - Contemporary Christian Music Ensemble (open to all) -- Sundays at 4:00 pm

-Instrumental Ensemble (open to all) -- Sundays at 4:30 pm

Christian Formation Ministries

-Sunday Morning Bible Study for all ages, Sundays at 9:30am
-Vacation Bible School
-The Edge: Sundays at 5 p.m. and Wednesdays at 6 p.m.
-NbBC Women: Every 2nd and 4th Thursday at 10 a.m. Night group meets the first Thursday of every month at 7pm.

Pastoral Ministry

All are ministers called to care for one another. North Broad strives to meet the needs of the congregation through offering ministry including but not limited to counseling, hospital visitation, homebound ministries, deacon family ministry, pastoral care materials such as our "Care Notes" ministry, preaching, new Christian training, and new member orientation.

Youth Ministry : The Edge

North Broad offers a balanced ministry for youth including experiences and events of worship, discipleship training, outreach, inreach, and fellowship. Youth are also active in sponsoring major mission projects each year including local, national, and international experiences.

Children's Ministry : NbBC Kidz

North Broad offers a balanced ministry for children including experiences and events of worship, discipleship, ministry/service, evangelism, and fellowship. Missions and Social Ministries

-Living out the Gospel through a wide variety of ministry efforts.
-Strong support of missions at home and abroad through CBF.
-Missions education program.
-Unique Community Brunch ministry serving hungry folks and offering empowerment and community
-Annual mission trips alternating in North Georgia, the United States, and overseas

Recreation and Fellowship

Church-wide events through the year such as:: -Church Picnic; -Annual Christmas Banquet, Party; -Talent Show; -Fellowship Meals; -Concerts and much more!
-Camping trips, white water rafting, amusement parts, ball games, etc.
-Wednesday night fellowship suppers
-FFF (Triple F) a senior adult fellowship

Senior Adult Ministries

FFF (or "Triple F") stands for Food, Fellowship, and Fun. And that is just what our group is all about! But it doesn't stop there! We are folks who care about other folks in need. So we support them through ministries such as the Sumatra Water Project through the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and the Community Brunch at North Broad. Primarily, though, we meet on the second Tuesday of each month for a noon luncheon including a delicious "covered dish" meal and program. We have heard from hospital staff, musicians, lawyers, tax experts, business owners, elected officials, preachers, social workers, and many others. We have even held a health screening.

Low cost field trips to places such as Callaway Gardens, Warm Springs, Theatre on the Square in Marietta, Jimmy Carter Center, Fernbank Museum, Cumberland Playhouse in Crossville, TN, and Elijay to pick apples is also something we enjoy! Best of all, you don't have to be a North Broad member to participate in FFF! Just come!
